Kevin Lalande (born February 19, 1987 in Kingston, Ontario) is a professional ice hockey goaltender currently with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. Lalande was drafted in the 5th round (128th overall) by the Calgary Flames in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. edit Junior career
Lalande began his juniors career in 2003, when he signed with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League posting a 1-2-0 record with a 6.77 goals against average and an .833 saves percentage while appearing in three games. Lalande would play four years for Belleville concluding with a 64-46-12 record in 131 games, leading Belleville to the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals. edit Professional career
Lalande began his professional career in 2007, when he was assigned to the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League. Lalande would have a 2-3-0 record with a 3.34 goals against average and an .888 saves percentage in seven games with Quad City before being demoted to the Las Vegas Wranglers. Lalande played in 27 regular season games for Las Vegas posting a 17-5-4 record with a 2.05 goals against average and a .932 saves percentage.
Lalande spent the first two months of the 2008-09 season as Calgary's #3 goaltender seeing no playing time, before being reassigned back to Las Vegas in November 2008. Lalande returns to Las Vegas as the franchise's career leader in playoff games played by a goaltender (20), playoff wins (13), and playoff shutouts (3) and is the team's active leader in minutes played (1607), games played by a goaltender (27), wins (17), and shutouts (3).
